Dr. Pierce received his training from Texas Chiropractic College where he was active in various clubs and organizations, coached his children in multiple sports and still remained an honor student throughout his schooling. After successfully running two chiropractic clinics and working full-time at Texas Chiropractic College as an Intern Supervisor and Director of the Outpatient Therapy Department, Dr. Pierce and his family returned to North Utah County in 1994.

Dr. Pierce has over 25 years of chiropractic experience, 19 of those years here in Highland. As an athlete and coach of well over 40 years in various sports, Dr. Pierce understands your injuries and how to help speed the healing process. He also educates in injury prevention with home stretches and exercises. Dr. David Pierce uses a variety of adjusting techniques as each patient’s body requires. In 2000 he was granted a certificate of proficiency from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association for his technique with Webster’s In-Utero Constraint Technique.

Meet Dr. Spencer Pierce

Meet Our Highland Doctors
Dr. Spencer also received his training from Texas Chiropractic College after his undergrad studies at UVU. He is the son of Dr. David Pierce. He is married to his sweetheart, Tricia, and they have 6 happy kiddos of their own.

Throughout his life, Dr. Spencer has been active at the gym and in sports (martial arts, soccer, and baseball to name a few). As an athlete, he truly understands how the body is meant to function at its optimal capacity and loves to help other athletes achieve their own personal goals. In addition to sports injuries, Dr. Spencer is well-trained in other areas (including treatment for newborns and the elderly). He is compassionate, welcoming, and truly enjoys helping others heal as quickly as possible.

Meet Dr. A. David Richens

Meet Our Highland Doctors
Dr. Richens began his education at Weber State University in Ogden Utah where he studied health sciences. His love for serving others and his hands-on approach to health and learning led him to The University of Western States in Portland Oregon where he graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in 2020.

Chiropractic is more than just a one-stop fix for Dr. Richens. The thing that he loves most about chiropractic care is the opportunity that he has to not only help find and give solutions to any ailments his patients might have but to teach them how to implement those practices into their daily lives.

Dr. Richens has extensive experience with and specializes in TMD care and headache relief in individuals of all ages. He believes that chiropractic can serve the community in every facet of their lives and loves being able to give the people that he serves the tools necessary for them to thrive.

Family is the most important thing in Dr. Richens’ life. He is a devout husband and father. He and his wife were married in 2014. They have 3 beautiful girls, Katy, Nova, and Daisy. Being able to support and love his family is one of his greatest strengths. There is nothing he loves more than spending time with his girls. They love spending time at the aquarium and dinosaur park, playing games, going bowling, and camping as a family in the Uintahs.

Dr. Richens has served all walks of life and is super excited to be a part of The Canyon Chiropractic family. He looks forward to having the privilege of serving you and the community!
